MessageThe Jakania Democratic Islamist Party would be happy in taking three positions from the cabinet assesment since our political party placed second in the election framework. The three political positions that we would like to choose that is open to negotiation are the

1) Foreign Affairs Portfolio
2) Health and Social Services
3) Environment and Tourism

MessageThe JLSP would appreciate the two positions of Foreign Affairs and Defense. They're the two positions we feel we're most able to work with, and we probably have the best knowledge of overseas goings-on in the nation, and it's hoped that that was proved during the Solentia and Wantuni incidents that we can keep the council informed of situations outside of the country and act on them appropriately.

Otherwise, our only other caveats is that all elected parties share a place in the cabinet. We also reccomend that we adopt a policy of the largest party charing the cabinet as prime minister. This should ensure that the position rotates based on the will of the people, and that our cabinet is reevaluated after elections.

If neccesary, we believe the above two conditions be presented to the council in the form of a resolution, to ensure they become common protocol.

Apart from these three requests, we will support any combination of cabinet positions presented.

MessageThe Jakania Democratic Islamist Party does agree with the JLS with regards to the Prime Minister portfolio and if an arraignment is worked out for all parties to vote on, if the Securalist Libertarian Party only gets one seat in the cabinet we believe it should be the Prime Minister portfolio as they are the largest party.

MessageThe JLS have been given their seats. It would appear opposition is non-existant.

We ask that the JDIP allows us to remain in control of Health & Social Services. The Liberal Democratic Party also handed this seat down to us after holding the position for 25 years. We have been a large figure in restructuring Jakania as a welfare state, which is for the most part currently is. We are a large proponent for protecting these ideologies and would wish to keep control over the seat. Finance and Health & Social Services are the seats we wish, and that's it.

The SLP has been given the Prime Minister seat. While we completely disagree with the idea that the majority party should be given the seat automatically, we will support to make this cabinet work and for respect's sake. We cannot say we really feel comfortable with giving them any other seats, however if that is what must be done we will somehow broker a deal to make such happen.

We will keep this open to debate and revisions, and after the appropriate time, will sends this to a vote to ensure the cabinet's support and passage.

MessageWe applaud the proposal put forth by the Democratic Party, and we hope the other parties will give their input upon the proposed positions.

We would support this version in full. A multipartisan, debated cabinet sets an excellent precident for the future of democracy, and the strength of government, in our nation.
