Bill: The Act of Privitization and Liberty

Details

Submitted by[?]: Aldegar Freedom Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 2393

Description[?]:

Several changes have been made by communist parties in this nation recently that the TCP party believe should not have been passed.
Therefore, the TCP suggests several pieces of legislation essentially restoring things to the way they were before this communist tyrade, but many of the articles within this bill have gone further, so as to actually improve upon the previous policies in regards to the various fields concerned.

MessageThank God you arrived back here. Unfortunately, it wasn't in time to stop all that legislation from being passed. Anyway, we support everything but article 3. We would prefer a public system to be maintained.

MessageWe're not keen on articles 4 and 6 and see those as steps back in the concept of liberty. However, the damage done by recent lefists changes must be undone and so we'll support this bill and create seperate legislation to try and make changes we feel are needed.

MessageThis is pathetic and indicates true immaturity. If parties cannot be bothered to vote, then they shouldn't whinge about it afterwards.

MessageAs you can see, we are electing to have early elections to ensure that the people can show their feelings about the law changes before you can tell them what to think.

MessageHurry up and pass this as soon as possible. Even though we have our reservations, we have the necesary support, and we need to reverse the communist regression as soon as possible.

MessageThis bill contains a few extremely nationalistic elements which the SNP opposes as part of the cornerstone of its platform. We strongly object to this bill.

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there.
