Message | The Jakania Democratic Islamist Party believes that with 12 billion Jak in surplus that some of the taxes in the nation of Jakania should be decreased to ensure that the average Muslim and non-Muslim citizen in Jakania get some more money into their pockets instead of giving it to the government. Also, we have decreased 8 billion Jak in taxes that will remain the Jakania economic powerhouse by keeping the national coffers in the surplus and not in deficit. |

Message | We have increased taxation in several areas so the Jakanian Budget may grow. Because for a while the budget was at literally no spending, it has taken years to mend. It is finally starting to make a breakthrough and that was pushed progressively forth under the LDP's control in the Finance Division. To increase spending in Jakania's budget so our services can be more appropriately funded, we need to keep taxes at the appropriate level. It might even be more suited to raise them, but we know that won't happen unless we can garner more support from key parties, so that won't be happening. The point in these taxes is to make our budget grow, so more services can be expanded more and so the government can fully pay for the current welfare state that Jakania is. If we lower spending, then we won't be able to realistically manage these programs adequately. |
