| Message | There are two areas where the SLP objects to reductions in spending, and those are science&technology and defense. Combine that with such a large increase in government spending (which just smacks of extra beaurocracy), and we must vote a no. |

| Message | We should be increasing our budget, not decreasing. We support cuts from the military but do not see any need to increase the Head of Government Division at this time. Cuts in the Trade & Industry and Food & Agriculture Divisions are not appropriate either and will not benefit the people nor the government. |
