| We wish to change laws regarding illicit drugs. This is an attempt to stamp out the illicit drug epidemic that is sweeping our nation. 1. The medicinal use of Cannabis should be illegal due to the fact that the need for Cannabis as a sedative is low. There are many other methods of pain reduction and we do not see the need for Cannabis as a sedative in this situation. The legality of Cannabis in certain situations can only lead to a more open public view to drug abuse. 2. By enforcing a national standard, the effort against drugs will be more concentrated. |
