Message | Due to the tax increases that have been implemented by the other parties, much to our disgust, and the refusal to ratify our previous Income Tax Proposal, we put this spending plan before the House. If we are going to steal money from the people, we may as well use it. We have increased the budget to Defence by 5 times. Now that we have national conscription, it is important that we cater for these extra soldiers, and to ensure that they have the very best equipment. We may also need to buy weapons or goods from abroad, and this needs to be covered. We have doubled the budget paid to Health in preparation for mass casualties. Diplomatic standstills can only last so long, and it is important that we prepare, especially considering the bureaucratic mess that our health service is in. We have given a slight increase to Foreign Affairs, due to the extra activity of our ambassadors in their embassies abroad. More meetings and conferences are being held, and this needs to be reflected. Justice has also seen an increase due to the extra laws that are being put forward by the parties opposite. We urge the House to adopt this bill. |

Message | Our party controls the Food and Agriculture Ministry, we would like to see at least a small increase. Ian Street can't do his job without funding. No until you propose one with F+A |

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left. |
