Message | And this would mean that farmers markets and roadside stands are illegal, and they're normally the best place to buy food. |

Message | Not always. I got a bad case of food poisoning from a farmer's market. Besides, what is preventing the farmers from from applying for a license? Unless fees are needed to keep a license I see no problem. Otherwise, we must make licenses free as long as a test is passed concerning the quality and safety of the food. |

Message | The license would ensure that only people that are serious about it would do it. By getting a license people would know the proper way to handle foods. Most people dont know the proper temperatures to keep food at without seriously risking food born illnesses. And other things like that. And anyone could get the license. So a farmers market could still be legal. |

Message | There will be costs related to a license, like any other. There will need to be enforcement. These things will drive up the cost of food because they will be passed on to the consumer, which is everyone |

Message | Ummm, no there wont be more costs through the food. Like any regulation it wil need funding, to enforce compliance, through taxes, but it will be minimal. |
