Message | As listed in the Bill Description, we feel it is time to give unique names to the governmental positions that we are able to. I have listed the suggestions I came up with, and am willing to amend them, if need be, but let's try to come to a consensus here. But just so you know my reasoning for my first choices: HoG: "Consul" is a reference to the world's first republic, the Roman Republic, as the title given to the joint holders of the Senate's leadership. Just as the Consuls were Rome's Chief Executives, our Head of Government heads the cabinet, deeming this change rather appropriate. HoS: "Hero of the Republic" may seem like an odd name for an elected official, and is the suggestion we are least attached to, but seemed somewhat appropriate, as the Head of State in Alduria has no formal powers. Legislature: The "House of Delegates" seems fitting, since each voter chooses a party, rather than a specific candidate for the seat. Therefore, the members of the legislature are really delegates of the Party which they belong to. The floor is now open for any comments, suggestions, thoughts, and witty remarks. |

Message | The Market Socialist Party likes the name "Consul;" however, we belive that the name "Most Popular Person in Alduria" is rather unorthadox and, thus, will vote against your proposal. |

Message | I really like sound of Supreme Chancellor instead of Most Popular Person in Alduria, and Senate instead of House of Delegates...but House of Delegates is fine with me too. I just think that Senate sounds more Roman if that's what you want. |

Message | Well, I like the idea of the Senate, but when you think about it, it really has an elitist connotation to it, which is why the Moderates prefer "House of Delegates" However, Supreme Chancellor does have a nice ring to it. The Moderates shall adopt it as a friendly amendment. Now, do the Communists or Democrats have any thoughts? |
