Message | Not only is a state television channel unnecessary in this age of cheap digital cable & satellite TV, the state should not control the media - would you trust a state-run newspaper? Also, running (or even financing) a TV station is not an essential task of government and therefore the government has no right to demand money from citizens in order to fund such a venture. The Liberty Party strongly urges a YES vote to this proposal. |
