Message | Provides? Dear god, have you ever been to NYC? Something akin to a subsidy would be nice. No projects (which I assume they mean by "provide"). |

Message | OOC: No, so I don't know what's wrong with public housing in New York City. Here in Belgium, the public housing projects are excellent, all houses provided to low-income families are state of the art, they're very modern and provide all comfort a house should provide. They're as good as privately-owned houses. |

Message | OOC: Let's just say that 'hellhole' is an understatement. They breed crime and filth, really. Damn shame too, every single government built housing project is similar to it. Other forms of government subsidized housing tend to work much better. |

Message | OOC: That depends on your approach. ;-) Here they work fine. |

Message | OOC: Well, I've always seen Rutania as more of the US then Belgium, we've got a nice divide between the north and the south, and we're fairly rural. Whatever. We're still voting against, I don't think that would be any surprise. |

Message | In works in Britain... well better than having people on the streets anyway, so in my experience this is a good idea. Depends how it's implemented really, but we wont know that. |
