Message | The Centrist party would also like the government to consider a gradual reduction in Corporation Tax, beyond what this Bill suggests. We feel that given the surplus in the budget approx 18 billion. At the current rate Corporation tax brings in approx 20 billion so given the surplus a reduction would not reduce government income massively. We also propose a decrease in the rates of Income tax if possible. If the government does not see fit to do this we would like to query what the surplus is being used for. |
