MessageBadly-worded proposal again. The bill description tries to make it clear that housing is built for the homeless and is optional.

MessagePeople tend not to respect things they didn't buy. So I think that the homeless should be put in hostels instead of homes. The get them a job then get them looking to buy a house. The government should put a wee bit pressure on builders to build affordable housing so that there is cheap housing available for the poor, other than that the PAL believes the government should do nothing. Charity is better than Government 'help'

MessageWe regret that PAL cannot support this proposal, but hope that the other parties will.
