Bill: Impeachment of Uvas.
Details
Submitted by[?]: Sensible Parity
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2406
Description[?]:
Sensible Parity calls for deep, abdominal breathing. It also calls for democratic norms and peace with all mankind. Even an alleged life appointee can be impeached. We bring articles of impeachment and a serene set of calisthenics against Mr. Uvas!

From | Conservative-Libertarian Party (UM) | To | Debating the Impeachment of Uvas. | Message | As we have said before, the bill does not say that former ministers shall be given the title of Lord. No matter what is said on the floor, it is the description of the law that counts. We were voting on the bill description, not on the conversation that took place. |

From | Conservative Union Party | To | Debating the Impeachment of Uvas. | Message | You can't impeach Lord Uvas. He has already left the navy in style, had his leaving ceremony and is a private citizen. I proclaim this bill a void. Uvas is not impeached by the law of freedom in private citizens. |

From | Christian Democratic Alternative | To | Debating the Impeachment of Uvas. | Message | To RIR: Everyone involved in defending Hutori's independence was given the title lord. Uvas was involved so he's a lord and so are many politicians, with the exception of the Socialist Party of Hutori and the Davostanian spies. |

From | Conservative-Libertarian Party (UM) | To | Debating the Impeachment of Uvas. | Message | That is not what we voted on. We voted on giving the current Defence and Foreign Secretaries a Lordship. Nobody else. To claim otherwise is ridiculous.
And Uvas did not get a leaving ceremony. |

From | Conservative Union Party | To | Debating the Impeachment of Uvas. | Message | No. Uvas is a lord so are many others. The GFK's second draft was to not give Uvas a peerage and just to give the current ministers one. However this bill was withdrawn when the bill to make all of them passed thus resulting in the ennoblement of Uvas. |

From | Sensible Parity | To | Debating the Impeachment of Uvas. | Message | Sensible Parity acknowledges that this legislation is moot. Mr. Timothy Uvas has resigned as admiral and avoided the humiliation of impeachment.
Should Parliament now consider bringing Uvas up on charges? He disobeyed orders. Is this a crime, or is it not a crime? |

From | Sensible Parity | To | Debating the Impeachment of Uvas. | Message | The impeachment bill came before Uvas' resignation, CUP. :) We acknowledge that two posts above your post. |
