Message | Under regulation, it is possible to prevent slave-trade and pimping. Making prostitution illegal would take the container off. What's more, I don't see the reason in wasting taxpayer money and policemen on enforcing this when we could be making a profit... |

Message | No, freedom and social stability means more than 'morality'. If we can help achieve that, make money and reduce government costs than I'm all for it. |

Message | According to the U.N. prostitutuion is against human dignity. Also, would you like your daughter to be a slut? |

Message | Am I allowed to make decisions for my adult children? Is the UN considered the authority on human dignity? Here's an idea, why not ask the people who are doing the job? |

Message | Furthermore, sluts aren't necessarily prostitutes. If my daughter WAS, hypothetically, a slut, at least this way she'd be making money. |

Message | The people in the job are often forced into it by desperation and would love an opportunity to stop it. Also they can often be using it to fund drug addictions. Prostitution is the easy option for them, involves no work and they get money off sleazy old men. Shall we ask people robbing banks if they wish it to be legalised? Nay!! |

Message | I said slut cuz prostitute is too long...you know what I mean though. |

Message | Comparing prostitution to bank-robbery is kind of a stretch... one is a business agreement, albeit one which many despise on moral grounds, the other is taking people's money without their consent. Furthermore, making it an illegal profession isn't going to stop people from going into it out of desperation: they will either go into it illegally or end up even more desperate than before. And unless you happen to know a lot of prostitutes in real life, I don't think it's fair to speak for all of them. |
