Message | I think that this budget addresses the ecomonic situation well. Many ministers are overpaid, the money saved can go where it is needed most! |
Date | 23:26:59, May 18, 2007 CET | From | Beluzian Workers Party | To | Debating the National Budget of 2406 |
Message | It wasn't easy cutting 200 billion from the budget. Defence was untouched, and health and welfare is still the largest state expenditure. But most other departments needed to be deeply cut in order to reduce the income tax to a more fair level. |

Message | I like the double in pay for the head of state, and will support. I would have liked an exponential increase in defense spending however... |

Message | This budget is tied to the Income Tax Act & Luxury Tax Act currently proposed... If we want an increase in any area, taxes will have to be increased. Or, we could consider a corporate income tax... |

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar). |
Random quote: "I am a conservative to preserve all that is good in our constitution, a radical to remove all that is bad. I seek to preserve property and to respect order, and I equally decry the appeal to the passions of the many or the prejudices of the few." - Benjamin Disraeli |
