| Message | We want to protect unborn children. Not foetuses, which will become children, but children. And there's many examples of children surviving premature birth completely unharmed: you're lying for populism at the expense of the lives of unborn children! As we said, we're perfectly happy with abortion in the first trimester: that's pretty free. Anything else becomes more and more infanticidal. We'd never, ever deny a woman the right to abort at an appropriate time, just as we'd never, ever deny a human the right to life. |

| Message | The only appropriate time for abortion is if the mother's life is threatened. This is murder, plain and simple. We would like to ease the transition into the first trimester. MLP, you seem to like the idea that mentally retarded children (or those that will be) be aborted. Well let me ask you this, how you ever asked a mentally retarded person if they would like it if they were never born? Many retarded people can live full lives with a few limitations.
