Message | It is environmentally disadvantageous because if too many are caught, they simply have to be thrown back - dead. It is a disgrace that whilst quotas are in place, food is being thrown back into the sea, when there are people starving in the world, and poor families in Hutori who would be delighted at such a feast on their plate. Quotas just don't work. They're bad. |

Message | Plus it means fishermen lose out on lots of money which is bad for them and the fishing industry. |
Date | 18:00:16, May 24, 2007 CET | From | Sensible Parity | To | Debating the Fishing Quota Removal |
Message | No limits mean fish can be fished unto they can be fished no more. That is not Sensible Parity. |
