Description[?]:
Cultural Census 2410 Ethnicity: White North Artanian: 76% Dundorfian: 12% Welsh: 4% Majatran: 4% Karissian: 3% Mixed/Other: 3% White North Artanians is a generic term for all people originating from the Englar people in Dorvik. Dundorfians are what they say on the tin, so to speak, Welsh are the Welsh peoples of Dovani, Majatran are also what they say on the tin and Karissians are from Keris. Primary Language: English: 82% Dundorfian: 15% Other: 3% All self-explanatory. Religion: Christians: 43% Protestant: 34% Catholic: 5% Other: 2% Judaism: 10% Buddhist: 4% Muslim: 2% Other: 5% No Religion: 36% All self-explanatory. As for distribution of these figures across the country, ethnically and lingually, the largest Dundorfian ethnic and lingual population tends to be in Merkan, especially in the mountains and areas nearby where they often form a majority. Around 30% of Merkan speak Dundorfian as a first language. The other ethnicities tend to be fairly spread out, with in particular a Welsh community in Micana. Southern Nuchtmark, southern Dirlana and northern Uwakah tend to be the most ethnically homogenous. For the religion, Christian numbers are highest in the historic Bible Belt running down the 'spine' between Dirlana/Dirguzia and Merkan, and onwards into Nuchtmark, while non-religious numbers are highest in Cadoria in particular, where 74% have no religion. My reasoning behind these figures? For one, we've always been ethnically homogenous in general, as previous figures back in the 2340s have shown (87%, I think) then, although that's decreased with an increasingly open and accepting Kirlawa. In particular Dundorfians have fled across the border constantly for reasons including, but not limited to, violence in Dundorf, violence in Kirlawa (guerillas), social upheaval in Dundorf and the 'Greater Dundorf' project. Lingually, Dundorfian is spreading, and is an official language in Merkan. For religion, I figure that the numbers of Jews is increasing owing to the death of the homeland, while Buddhism has decreased as its influence in Democratic Labour has weakened. The slow destruction of the Veritan Catholic faith has meant evangelical Protestantism has got a rise, especially with Republican/Whig elements, but the non-religious sector of society has risen in the face of the hard-left propaganda. |

Message | Religion and pprimary language figures are good. I think that Kirlawa would be very multicultural. Our laws basically allow anyone to live here permanently, and even become citizens, easily. |

Message | To an extent, yes, but 24% is multicultural considering our location. We're in the far-north, in an ethnically homogenous area and we've historically also been ethnically homogeneous. Plus, despite our open immigration there've been a large amount of fascist pseudo-paramilitaries at times, and, well, you know. I think we could maybe increase non-WNAs to 30%, but that's about as high as it would get considering all factors. |

Message | I think 24% is pretty high, considering where we are and our history (the 30 years when the Fascists controlled about half of the country probably led to a few people leaving, as well as them being victims of oppression in disproportionate numbers). |

Random fact: It is possible for a player to transfer ownership of a character or a royal house to another player. This should be done in a public way, such as on the Character Transfers thread, so that if a dispute arises in the future, Moderation can be pointed towards evidence of the transfer. |
