Bill: C&U - Local Government Reform Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Páirtí Sóisialach
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 2411
Description[?]:
The Conservative and Unionist Party proposes this reform to more adequately represent the Telamoner model of government upon town and local councils. Since the national government is headed by a Prime Minister, who commands a majority in Parliament, the Conservative and Unionist Party proposes that town and local councils be modelled on this form, where the mayor (or Lord Mayor, depending upon the town) acts as the Prime Minister of the council area, commanding a majority of the council and, ergo, following the wishes of the people. The Conservative and Unionist Party seeks support on this matter. |
