Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2092
Description[?]:
Due to the military build up of Rutanian forces along the nothern border of Delvar and the recently passed proposals of the Rutanian Government to build nuclear, chemical AND biolgical weapons, the good citizens of Beluzia are calling to be allowed to bear arms. They dispare at the appeasing nature of resent Beluzian Governments and call for the right to defend themselves in these dark days. This would see guns being handed out to all those who want them (for a small fee) only if they pass suitable tests. These would exclude those with a criminal record or those who have/are suffering from a mental condition. |

Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Ownership of guns by private individuals.
Old value:: Adult individuals may not own firearms unless professionally required.
Current: Adult individuals may own guns under strict license conditions.
Proposed: Adult individuals may own guns under strict license conditions.

From | Humanism-Scientism Collusion | To | Debating the Gun Ownership in a Time of Crisis | Message | How about those who haven't got a criminal record yet? We don't think unorganised civilians will have enough organisation and/or numbers to stop the Rutanians. Or their WoMD. The downside would however be having more Beluzians killing each other - a big no-no for us. |

From | LiberalDemocraticFreedomTaxAndSpendParty | To | Debating the Gun Ownership in a Time of Crisis | Message | If this Country were a victim of an attack by either nuclear, chemical, or biological weapons them it would already be to late for the citizens to do anything of much value. Instead, if you want to give yourself a fighting chance you would boosted the armed forces, which we would also not recommend, but it would make more sense than this reasoning. |

From | Catholic Workers Movement | To | Debating the Gun Ownership in a Time of Crisis | Message | We will not support handing out guns. We have enough armed maniacs running around the country already. This would not be effective in any way, as the other parties have pointed out. |

From | Freedom Party | To | Debating the Gun Ownership in a Time of Crisis | Message | PAL. Please refrain from making stuff up, there is no military build up in Delvar, nor was there ever one. Refrain from telling mistruths and lies in future as it only lowers everyone's opinion of your party. |

From | Partisans And Artisans League | To | Debating the Gun Ownership in a Time of Crisis | Message | Did you not hear? Peoples' opinion of my party is that of utter disgust. I represent the lowest rungs of Beluzian society as we (the once rich and powerful; but now overtaxed) eek out a humble existance. I see no reason why we should bow to your lies as you continue your campaign for Artanian domination. |
Date | 12:02:44, August 07, 2005 CET |
From | Freedom Party | To | Debating the Gun Ownership in a Time of Crisis | Message | "the PAL has reversed its decision for people to have guns so this will just be for the record."
And yet you vote for this?
