MessageYou seem threatened by the prospect of the people having greater representation. How can you, on one hand, propose the National Reconciliation Act, freeing all of Lodamun from the oppression they had suffered under; and on the other hand deny that the people require a greater voice?

Perhaps if adequately represented, Lodamun would not be hurtling towards the police state that it has been allowed to become.

So by all means, vote against this once it has been debated. Be on record against the people of this nation. We will see what they decide.

Free Lodamun.

Messageseveral years ago, i proposed and passed through the Parliament a bill to expand the seats from 325 to 599. However, more seats does not mean more democracy. Take your pathetic threats elsewhere.

Message"withdraw your bill. I alone control enough votes to defeat this proposal."

Political infighting creates enemies where there may be allies. Considering that our nation is up agianst a menace that seeks to drag us into fascism, perhaps one might consider the olive branch before the sword? Especially considering how fickle times and opinions change.

Perhaps presenting an arguement for Bill withdrawl instead of ordering would be the more prudent course of action? Afterall, this is still only being debated, and we're all facing this nemesis of freedom together.

MessageThe LDP is surprised and dismayed, not by the United Republics' opposition of this bill, but by the ferocity of their attacks against it. We request that before this bill goes to vote they more fully explain.

MessageAs the URP have stated we have only just really increased the number of seats, However when I do the maths of the number of people represented by each MP it is extremly high. Therefor the NP would be willing to agree to this bill so that the MP\'s can deal better with individuals concerns. The NP would prefer each MP to represent around 100,000 people. However we know with such a high population that is not possible.

Messagerather than attack me, please explain how more seats improves democracy in lodamun. I think we have much more pressing concerns in that regard such as Nick Griffin's continuation in the office of Prime Minister despite the expressed wishes of the people.

MessageIt is very simple, with greater numbers of delegates in parliament, there will be more delegates from each region of the 5 Kingdoms. With more representation per subject, there will be greater accuracy in presenting the viewpoints of your constituants.

For example, currently we have 599 seats. that means those almost 600 people represent all 130,497,548 of our people, or each representative alone speaks for 217,859 subjects.

If we increased the number to 750 each member of parliament would represent 173,996 people, an increase of almost 50,000, providing less cow-towing they have to do to adequately respresent thier subjects.

Furthermore, because of the party system, we avoid the obvious pitfalls when increasing the number of people in parliament of bickering and in-fighting.

Everyone wins.

MessageHere are some real facts: the size of the legislature already expanded from 325 to 599. Why expand it again? Why not expand it to a thousand or a million (other than the fact that 750 is the max)? Maybe if the Parliament had a million seats, FL would have one today.

MessageThat's actually only one fact; a of question that was answered above; a rhetorical question you answered yourself (which speaks volumes for you); and wild speculation that I would have a seat (my money is that FL won't for quite a while yet).

MessageI'm not a math whiz or anything but it seems that public consensus is for this particular item. Unfortunately, people have positions to protect and that goes beyond caring for their nation.

MessageYou know, voting in favor of this would take effect after the next set of elections. So currently everything that is set to end in november would remain unaffected. The URP claims to be in favor of this, but only on thier terms. I find this to be unacceptable.
