Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Description[?]:
The police force should be nationalised for several reasons. a) Standardisation of practices and policy means that police forces from different provinces can co-operate closely b) A nationalised force results in greater economies of scale when buying equipment, etc. c) If co-operation between various provinces is required, there is no bureaucratic barrier between departments, which allows information to be passed more quickly, increasing chances of a successful arrest. |
