Message | Some people view gambling as bad, others helpful. We can let it get down to were, in places with higher populations of moral people that it is illegal and in place were there are gamblers it is legal. This is a very good choice for local government to have. |
Date | 22:50:35, May 29, 2007 CET | From | Fair Capitalism Party | To | Debating the Gambling Act |
Message | We refuse to obstruct devolution. |
Date | 01:30:13, May 31, 2007 CET | From | Moderate Libertarian Party (NoCoalition) | To | Debating the Gambling Act |
Message | The MLP feel almost neutral on this issue. When it comes to casino and gambling facility construction, sure local governance works. But to tell an individual they can't gamble because they live in one part of Aloria, even in this age of telephone, Internet, etc. sports-betting, makes little sense. They'll find away around it and it will make local criminals out of people wishing only to pump their hard-earned money into the economy. |
