Bill: IP Sovereignty Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Imperialist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2413
Description[?]:
This act attempts to reinforce our national sovereignty, and strengthen our military by giving it more options - even as funding is likely to be reduced. Prisoner's of war have been captured by us, so they should be treated according to our domestic laws, and not international standards (which, frankly, are quite vague). What is internationally accepted in Endralon, for instance, probably wouldn't quite fly in Telamon. |

Old value:: Prisoners of war must be treated well, according to internationally-accepted standards.

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map. |
