Bill: Repealing "The Strangelove Project"

Details

Submitted by[?]: Libertarian Alliance

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2414

Description[?]:

Repeals the following action by the Sect of the Green Moon:

"A Ultivac will be built at a underground location, it shall be capable of working, even if 75% of components fail. It shall have a backup system that will be activated when 50% of the first system's components fail. Another backup system shall be put under that, thus making the system capable of lasting more than several decades. It will have backup power systems that can provide power for a day, and cannot be disconnected from the national power grid. This reliable computer system shall be used national defense, it will have 20 substations, each controlling a missile launch site. A vacuum tube computer will not be effected by EMP caused by a nuclear explosion, and it shall be in radio contact of all the substations and if that radio contact is broken, nuclear missiles shall be launched at current enemy targets. The system can NEVER be deactivated, however there will be a big red activation button labelled 'DEACTIVATE KAFURISTAN NUCLEAR DEFENSE, DO NOT PRESS' that will activate nuclear missiles at enemy contries.

There will be three people working 8 hour shifts inputting a code (each one knows a differnet one) at a secondary terminal every hour to protect against accidental power failures and other possiblities. Only when the code is stopped inputted and a nuclear explosion has occured in Kafuristan, then missiles shall be launched. This will be a effective defence against a enemy, if they were to activate a nuclear device in Kafuristan, they shall pay. We also shall build a Cobalt-Thorium-G missile that will wipe an entire country's ecosystem and make it so radioactive, it will be uninhabitable by multicelluar life for at least fifty years.

There shall also be ten people who live in a isolated area where they maintain the system and they all will be able to program differnet targets and they shall imput a code at least once every three days as a auxiliary just in case. We shall also have bombers that will fly over international waters refiilling at aircraft carriers on the way armed with a warhead that could destroy an entire city. Trusted generals shall also input a three letter code to prevent accidents when the system get's activated for a nuclear accident for example.

This shall discourage nuclear agression against Kafuristan, if total nuclear wipeout were to create collapse of Kafuristani society or create a situation similiar. Or worse, a commie hippie invasion armed with flowers. RED FLOWERS."

Random fact: Parties have the ability to endorse another party's candidate for the Head of State election (if there is one). This adds a strategic element to the elections.

Random quote: "It is the absolute right of the State to supervise the formation of public opinion." - Joseph Goebbels
