MessageThis is of course not very original, but this is at least something most of us could agree on, I hope.

MessageWe feel that the current title, combined with the long established translated titles, is completely acceptable. (OOC: the compromise was in order to retain elements of the Westminster system in our Germanic-dominated system)

MessageThe only alternative we would consider would be simply completing the titular translation. That would make it Statsminister in Imperial Hulstrian and Eerste Minister in Low Hulstrian.

MessageWhy Statsminister?

OOC: Is there an actual Hulstrian word "Statsminister"? In German it would be "Staatsminister", though that would mean "State Minister". At least in modern German one would most probably use "Premierminister".

MessageOOC: I took it from the Swedish word, because there was no German relative that I knew of. I took the Low Hulstrian from Afrikaans/Dutch

MessageWe would be content with Prime Minister too, but thought that there might be a wish for a German title.
So, we'll propose "Staatsminister".

MessagePrime Minister Greene:
"Should this measure be accepted by the Imperial Diet, I will of course take the necessary provisions to ensure that the formal title is implemented in full. However, I ask that it be allowed to use the two titles interchangably, as I am of the preference of the title of Prime Minister. However, in an imbracement of Hulstrianisation, I accept this measure as a noble step towards the defence of our culture."
