Message | If the freedom shall be perpetual this bill must pass with a 2/3 majority, becoming constitutional law, isn't it? |
Date | 23:03:14, June 14, 2007 CET | From | Wiedervereinigten Nationalisten | To | Debating the State Religion Act 2414 |
Message | Actually, we have several elements of our "constitutional law" that have never been passed with a 2/3s majority. For example, the Judiciary Act defines and establishes our entire judicial system. (OOC: This is sort've like the Westminster system in this regard) |

Message | OOC: Yes its quite bothersome. IC: *grumbles from the IHP Diet members* We thought we passed this already. |

Message | Yes, because the huge Mormon population of Hulstria will be up in arms, of course. |

Message | The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is growing by the tens of thousands every month as more and more see the true word of God. We are not to be ignored. We will not stop and there is nothing you can do about it. |

Message | OOC: Yeah, srsly learn about Hulstria before u RP. We might as well have buddhists rising up against this its just as likely as Mormon's |
Date | 02:59:31, June 16, 2007 CET | From | Crown Loyalists | To | Debating the State Religion Act 2414 |
Message | Quite honestly I see no reason for an established state church. It would only cause problems if the successor to the throne suddenly decided to convert to Mormonism or something ridiculous like that, which in turn leads to the possibility of civil war. The benefits simply do not outweigh the risks. |
Date | 03:12:02, June 16, 2007 CET | From | Wiedervereinigten Nationalisten | To | Debating the State Religion Act 2414 |
Message | Conversion to Mormonism is soon to be outlawed by the Un-Hulstrian Activities Act. |
