Message | The Just Freedom Party of the Barmenian People opposes the proposed restrictions on free trade, the permission of irresposible individuals to purchase explosives and the de facto sexual enslavement of people in our country proposed by the party which should really strike the term "libertarian" from its name. |

Message | You seem to have an obsession with querying the legitimacy of my party calling itself "libertarian". You fail to understand that Libertarian Socialism means libertarianism in the social field and regulation in thre economic field. It isn't the government's job to dictate to people about what they can and cannot do with their own bodies. Plus, outlawing prostitution will not stop it happening. Instead, it will result in major exploitation of women. Legalizing it allows it to be regulated thus ensuring better traetment for women. Also, your libertarian economic policies would result in the development of an underclass in society containing women who would be driven into prostitution due to their dire economic circumstances. The policies my party promotes will ensure equality for all thereby reducing the chances that women will be forced to sell their bodies for money. And finally, I have sensed that you are a little aggrieved that I did not change my name to the one you suggested. I think you need to get over it. |

Message | Libertarian socialism is not about government control of the market and individual freedom on personal issues. Libertarian socialism is about achieving socialism through voluntary (libertarian) means rather than through government control. Look it up! Outlwaing murder won't prevent murders from occuring either. Does that mean we should allow murder? Of couse not. Prostitution equals slavery as virtually no one choses prostitution over any other profession. Legalising prostitution sends a message that prostitution is acceptable - something to be tolerated. The current economic policies of Barmenia are not libertarian. The Just freedom Party of the Barmenian People long ago introduced several social security policies which gives women and others a choice other than resorting to prostitution. No country with socialist economics has ever successfully establish social equality, or for that matte come closer than most countries with mixed economies such as what we have in Barmenistan (market economy with social security). OOC: About the "aggrieved" comment; this is a game and in this game political rivalries are common. Don't resort to personal comments. |

Message | Yes Libertarian socialism is as you say but in the context of this game, government action is needed to achieve libertarian socialism i.e. the game is too limited to allow libertarian socialism to be achieved voluntarily. The comparison of abortion and murder laws is unsuitable. I've resorted to "personal comments" because you have persistently questioned the legitimacy of my party. |

Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with. |
