Bill: Save our Artists

Details

Submitted by[?]: Free Lodamun

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 2414

Description[?]:

While the quaint image of the starving artist is a staple of our culture, they, in fact, should be allowed to make a living. Also, if you build tech, you or the company you are contracted for should be able to own the copyright, no questions asked.

MessageI'm taking limited protection to mean that they are protected by copyright for a limited amount of time. As such I believe that eventually technology should lose its copyrights protection bcause it could hinder future advances

MessageHear, hear. Copyright protection shouldn't be permanent. The law should remain as it is.

MessageGood point. Full copyright protection shouldn't last forever in order to give others access to the technology.

Random fact: Large scale RP planning (such as wars, regional/continental conflicts, economic collapse, etc.) should be planned (as best as it can be) and should have consent of a majority of players involved.
