Bill: Welsh Genocide
Details
Submitted by[?]: Christian Fascist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2415
Description[?]:
1. Dranland must agree to sign a treaty guaranteeing the protection of its minority citizens (including the Welsh) from murder, harassment or persecution within its borders. 2. It must agree to the entry of an International Monitoring Force, composed of signatories of the Treaty (or possibly willing neutral nations), to ensure this occurs. 3. If it fails to do so, by a specific deadline, the signatories must deploy such a force to prevent a genocide for occurring (and possibly to evacuate refugees back to willing nations). We as a civilized nation must stop this Genocide I call upon all parties to put the lives of people above pacifism. We agree that if the genocide is not stopped, Pontesi along with coalition forces will use military means to stop the genocide. |

Message | Other side of the world, none of our business. |
Date | 16:24:20, June 17, 2007 CET | From | Pontesi Anarcho-Capitalist Party | To | Debating the Welsh Genocide |
Message | We, as a government, have no right to interfere in the internal disputes of other nations. The welsh citizens under threat should acheive a resolution through their own means - if this means armed revolution, so be it. Let them help themselves - respect their autonomy. All nations must be independant and self-determined. |

Message | On second thoughts, we reconsider our support for this proposal. This situation is a gross violation of liberty, in every way, and whilst all nations should be autonomous and all individuals self-helping, we believe that if the people of this nation feel obligated enough to assist these Welsh people in their plight, then let it be done. We support. |

Message | thank you all for your support. it is good to know almost every party stand against this horraible genocide. |

Message | Piffle. The Welsh are a problem group, just as Muslims and Seleyans are a problem group in Pontesi. Leave the Dranish to deal with their own problems, this resolution is an unnecessary intrusion into the domestic affairs of a nation that has little effect upon our own people. |

Message | Which is why the Christian Party favours discrimination against homosexuals? |
Date | 19:16:36, June 17, 2007 CET | From | Christian Fascist Party | To | Debating the Welsh Genocide |
Message | we favour discrimination against homosexuals, but will fight to try and stop sexual deviance that corrupts what GOD intended it for. trying to suppress homosexaulity and killing them for it are 2 totally different things. |

Message | u aren't going to win friends or get legislation passed by attacking attacking the larger parties. i don't agree with the labour party on a lot of things but i don't attack them. |
Date | 01:03:51, June 18, 2007 CET | From | Phalangist Representatives in Pontesi | To | Debating the Welsh Genocide |
Message | Suppressing and killing are fairly similiar, both aim to stop something happening, and both achieve similiar results, just less bloodshed in one. As to the second point, we fail to understand why other parties don't expect to be criticised or challenged. From now on the Phalange intends to agree with everything other parties say, and will actively encourage their decisions. |

Random fact: Players who consent to a particular role-play by acknowledging it in their own role-play cannot then disown it or withdraw their consent from it. For example, if player A role-plays the assassination of player B's character, and player B then acknowledges the assassination in a news post, but then backtracks and insists the assassination did not happen, then he will be required under the rules to accept the validity of the assassination role-play. |
