Message | *looks at watch* so in 3 years the private companies we gave time to grow are capable of maintaining power for the whole grid? |
Date | 18:29:14, June 18, 2007 CET | From | New Democratic Party | To | Debating the Private Utilities Act |
Message | So not only will the private sector hijack complete control of our utilities, but the UKL is impotent even to apply regulations? The New Democratic Party cannot support this legislation. |
Date | 21:28:18, June 18, 2007 CET | From | Independent Republican Party | To | Debating the Private Utilities Act |
Message | Without any regulations on the power grid or phone lines, services will be poor and Lodamun consumers will ultimately suffer. |
Date | 22:07:50, June 18, 2007 CET | From | Free Lodamun | To | Debating the Private Utilities Act |
Message | We promised to discuss full privitization of the electrical grid, however, this is far far too soon. Its ridiculous to assume these brand new companies are ready to take on the whole grid. Also, to lump in phone lines without any discussion to speak of, just straight to a vote? FL knows a bid for visability when it sees one. *golf clap* We applaud urp for their transparency. It is good to know who you can rely on. |
Date | 23:30:39, June 18, 2007 CET | From | Free Lodamun | To | Debating the Private Utilities Act |
Message | Despite urp's failings, we did agree to pass part of this. We certainly would also like to allow free market to function in the area of phone service as well. As such, Free Lodamun and its parent organization will donate or invest money anywhere it is needed to compensate for this sure to be hairy transition. |
Date | 00:00:13, June 19, 2007 CET | From | Lodamun Distributionist Party | To | Debating the Private Utilities Act |
Message | We were under the impression that 10 years were needed before the second stage in the power grid scheme. We count only 3. |

Random fact: It usually takes up to an hour for election results to generate. During this time, the "Next Election" date is put forward a month, which is confusing. Do not worry! In a short time, the election result will generate and the "Next Election" date will then correct itself. |
