Message | We believe that the environment must be protected so long industry and the working classes are not hurt by regulations for the natural environment. I myself, and I would believe the rest of the Senators in my party save for a few individuals, agree that Article 1 will not hinder industry. Article 2 we could support, but going from extreme to extreme isn't a solution to what we believe would be the most appropriate action to take. Dropping an extreme pro-environmently friendly law and placing it with an extreme unenvironmentally friendly law is too broad of a change and is too dramatic for us to consider legitimate law. Article 3 we really don't like the way it is, but we'd prefer if the government took care of residential waste and private companies took care of their own waste. We would be willing to negotiate to work out passage of this bill. |

Message | hunting and fishing should be regulated to ensure that entire species do not become extinct. Our purposal is to increase both the length of time hunting is permitted and the amount of land possible to hunt on. |

Message | Mr. Steton, we would be willing to change the wording of Article 2 to: Private cars are allowed, but people are encouraged to travel collective and tax incentives are provided for cars using environmentally friendly fuels. and Article 3 to: Private companies are responsible for disposing of their own waste. The government disposes of residential waste. Is this acceptable? |
