Details
Submitted by[?]: Union Démocrate Libertarien
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2416
Description[?]:
CONSIDERING: That the state has no business in the bedrooms of the nation in the case of consentual sex between two or more informed individuals above the stage of puberty or the legal age of consent. WE PROPOSE: That the state deregulates the profession of sex workers otherwise known as "prostitutes" or "putes" and allows for sex workers to work for their own profit and business (provided they are doing so of their own free will and not forcefully dominated over). While we consider that State ownership of the business of, well, sex does provide for regular medical checks to counteract the spread of Sexually Transmitted Diseases, a sex worker working for himself or herself could choose to go for a medical check and would be provided a report to ensure clients that the sex worker in question has not contracted any such diseases. This Act is to enter into effect if and when it passes by a majority vote through the national legislature. |
