Message | On Article 1, we whole heartedly support this concept. But on Article 2, Anyone could claim religious status to avoid taxation. IN order to avoid blanket abuse of the tax relief it must have some type of regulation and that regulation is thatthe government must recognize the religion as being a genuine religion and not merely a *claim*. We respectfully request the Secular Party re-write the proposal eliminating Article 2. |

Message | Nevermind that they're all legitimate beliefs. What business is it of the state, or anybody for that matter, to decide what views are good and what aren't? Most muslims are peace-seeking people who reject the radical fundamentalist cult. Sure, scientologists are a little out there when you consider normality, but some people would say that a virgin getting pregnant is a little out there, too. As for paganism, I don't see why you're against that, especially since Christianity has gotten a lot of traditions from Paganism. |

Message | The only muslims that are peaceful is the ones that are only thinking about killing you. Feel free to enlighten yourself on scientology ( http://80.237.164.51/particracy/main/vieworganization.php?organizationid=522 ). "virgin birth" or Parthenogenesis happens in nature "daily" so it is not "out there". And paganism is just plain bad |

Message | Funny, I have some muslim friends, and sometimes it seems they can't hurt a fly. As for scientology, no matter how much a scam a set of beliefs might seem to non-believers, a person has a right to believe in them unless they advocate violence. As for paganism, considering that such events as Christmas and Easter have a lot of Pagan references, you'd think you'd warm up to it. |

Message | Wherever did you get an idea like that? God only loves the people of Israel and encourages them to kill or enslave all the nations around them. |
