Debate
These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:

Message | The URP recently stated: "I'm willing to negotiate and debate bills, but other parties haven't been willing to do the same." Apparently, by "negotiate" and "debate" they mean "put bills directly to a vote, cast their own vote before anyone else reads the bill, and skip the debate completely." We support local funding of sports clubs. Allow status quo to remain. |

Message | And yes, the URP is seeing that he is considered extremel;y heavy on big government according to the game, so he is putting forth as many bills as he possibly can and voting for the small government side of things to hopefully change public opinion of him, and not lose a zillion seats in the next election. Its annoying really. |
Date | 04:06:32, June 20, 2007 CET | From | Independent Republican Party | To | Debating the Private Sports Act |
Message | Would this prevent Olympic teams from forming since those are government-sponsored and funded. |
Date | 04:15:55, June 20, 2007 CET | From | Independent Republican Party | To | Debating the Private Sports Act |
Message | If that is the case, then we will vote no on this issue. |
Date | 05:08:31, June 20, 2007 CET | From | United Republics Party | To | Debating the Private Sports Act |
Message | Actually most Olympic teams are privately funded through sponsorships. So we can still have an olympic team. URP is not advocating pulling out of the Terran Olympics Association. |
