| Message | We have realised now the error of our ways. Not realising that someone had sneaked through legislation for national military service we wrongly believed that the Armed Forces of the Crown were still the professional army I served with in the crusades. |

| Message | A professional army can exist alongside a conscript two-year army. The idea of national service is to instil a sense of discipline and a work ethic into our citizens, to teach them that the defence of their nation is as much their responsibility as the somewhat distant armed forces and to help them appreciate the sacrifice our boys make. It's not really anything to do with the actual army, navy or air force. I suggest that national service be served in a non-professional territorial army or the coast guard? |
