From | | To | Debating the Young Patriots Act | Message | Some people have conscientious objections to singing national anthems. Don't ask me why they do that, but we should respect their right to education without indoctrination. |

From | United Liberal Alliance | To | Debating the Young Patriots Act | Message | People should not be forced to sing the national anthem. Indeed the government really shouldn't be legislating on this at all anyway. |

From | | To | Debating the Young Patriots Act | Message | Look who is talking. Unless you meant the trigonometric object your statement should be spelled "Because you ...". |

From | | To | Debating the Young Patriots Act | Message | You can't start a sentence with 'can't' either, unless it is a question or 'can't' is treated like an object.
Oh, and in informal language (like when you can start a sentence with 'oh, and') you can start a sentence with because, if it is the answer to a why-question. |

From | | To | Debating the Young Patriots Act | Message | While The SDP does not currently have a vote in Parliament we would like to put ourselves on record against this bill. While we have nothing against our great national anthem, the SDP has a long history of opposing compulsory action that does not materially benefit society. In a free society as Telamon the people should have the choice to sing or not to sing. |

From | Conservative Party of Telamon | To | Debating the Young Patriots Act | Message | I agree with this bill, if children are not taught from the beginning to have respect and love for the country, it will be more likely that they will screw it up.
Even though i have no seats...you have my approval. |

From | | To | Debating the Young Patriots Act | Message | Obviously expressions of passion or appreciation must be voluntary to have any value. Forcing people into singing the national anthem each day might just as well make them less patriotic, and will definately decrease the value of the anthem.
Not to mention it is an uncalled for infringement on their liberty. |

From | | To | Debating the Young Patriots Act | Message | France uses it rather often, liberte, fraternite, egalite and all

From | | To | Debating the Young Patriots Act | Message | TCP: I don't care who uses it, and words are not nationalized in that sense. Liberty is the first human right, and is a very beutiful word, so I shall not let anyone prevent me from using it. |
