MessageWe shall support entrance into this free trade zone, although we are confused by the inclusion of decidedly non-Seleyan nations.

MessageOOC: Seleya is our continent, if I understand things correctly (someone let me know if I'm wrong). This is a treaty to allow the passage of goods easily between nations on our continent. Sort of like the EU in the '80s and early '90s.

MessageIf this passes in our nation, we urge the Foreign Minister to consider asking other non-signatory states in Seleya to consider passing this legislation.

Messagehmmm. Methinks this might resemble NAFTA, which has basically done nothing except for cripple the economy of the United Staes for 20 years. I suppose whether we pass this bill should have something to do with what we can gain from it or lose. Are we going to lose jobs to countries who don't have a minimum wage? Will we end up with a trade deficit?? These are complex issues that definately deserve months of debate, and pushing something this drastic through to vote, and then having everyone actually vote on it is appalling. Its' one thing to ram rod legislation that has to do wiht our own country, that you know has no chance of passing. Its anothier thing entirely to shove our country into trade alliances iwth other nations without seriously looking at the impact this will have on our land.

MessageURP appreciates the comments of the NMP. If this bill passes the Prime Minister will issue a world-wide press release asking other Seleyan nations to join. Our foreign minister can also contact the largest parties/ heads of state/ heads of government of non-signatory states.

Random fact: Players who deliberately attempt to present a misleading picture of the nation's current RP laws will be subject to sanction.
