Message | A more favorable income distribution does not require a DWC. In fact, DWCs can go against this, with a number of them hiring temporary workers over full-time to avoid giving them management rights. All it really does is add to costs involved in a business and time involved in decision making. Most of the time a manager leads the council in voting, because a lot of people don't care. To allow more flexible decision making, we need to end the support of DWCs. {OOC: If you're wondering, this is true on most kibbutzim, the best example fo a DWC in the world....) |
