MessageWhat is the reason for this proposal? An ordinary election will occur in about a year, why the hurry?

MessageBeacuse i am finding the electoral cycle too long, and you have 2 seats over the 1/3rd mark which has prevented the cycle being changed

MessageKanjor has had 24 month electoral cycles before and it was found not to be sustainable. Also, if this bill passes it will prevent matters currently before the Senate from being voted on. There will be an election next year.

MessageI am aware of Knajor having two electoral cycles, i spent a great deal of time in kanjor, and invented the very concept of the Two Kanjors (when i created the Adovocacy of the Two Kanjors as MPFP), i would personnaly settle for around 30 months, as 24 is too short. I also feel an odd number would be good, as it means elections are not always at the same time of the day.

MessageOOC: Yes I know (we really liked the idea of the 2 Kanjors) If you would like to contribute to the wiki articles about the history of Kanjor particulary the period when the MPFP was active that would be great! Not sure about the odd number concept for elections, would I think overall make it a bit harder to keep track of things.

MessageOOC: we see your point on making things harder, we just like quirky things, i will write some more on the wiki as soon as i have chance. I intend to have a spanish speaking miniroty on the islands, probably a migrant community that has been here for many many centuries and grown large throguh interbreeding etc. I think a minority would be a good thing for RP, my party would then be geared towards both the minority and the nation as a whole.

MessageOOC: I think the old (from about 2307) Partido Zapatista Kanjoro was at least partly spanish speaking.

MessageOOC: i think i will do a lot of work on the history, if i write anything you are unhpappy with then just let me know and we can change it. The changes will probably result in my party changing a fair amount aswell. I want to get the RP back up and running, i may propose many changes to the nation and trety withdrawals etc, but they will mainly be for RP purposes not to wreck the situation here.

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass.
