Message | We are against this. It would lead to cannabis getting into the wrong hands. Besides, there are other and better pain relievers to cannabis. Belinda Braithwaite (Leader of the LCWA) |
Date | 17:39:55, June 23, 2007 CET | From | Secular Party | To | Debating the FPA 2-18/2 Medical Liberty Act |
Message | We support. While we are very much for the prohibition of substances like alchohol, tobacco, and cannabis, drugs used for medicinal use are different. Cannabis can be a very strong pain reliever, far more effective than any other pain reliever. It is unique in this case, and so, it's medicinal use should be legal. |
Date | 17:53:16, June 23, 2007 CET | From | Teleurstelling Party | To | Debating the FPA 2-18/2 Medical Liberty Act |
Message | Precisely. Morphine can get into the wrong hands and it is lethal if abused, as is ritalin, demoral, vicodin, oxcotin, ketamine, and the list goes on. Cannabis is not lethal, it is mild, non-narcotic unlike every above legal drug. |
Date | 21:47:29, June 23, 2007 CET | From | Covenanters (IA) | To | Debating the FPA 2-18/2 Medical Liberty Act |
Message | We're with the Fall Party here: far more addictive and dangerous drugs are used in medicine every day - why ban cannabis? |
