Message | We support limiting Abortion. However that position carries with it the need to be responsible and ensure both men and women have available the means to avoid unwanted pregnancy. As well with the state subsidizing contraceptives some of the traditional stigma associated with their use may be washed away. Simply put, socially conservative individuals who are concerned about the life of an unborn child can not have their cake and eat it too. We must choose, no abortions plus readily available contraceptives or abortions and no contraceptives. A person who does want their child will find a way to get rid of it. Why not remove that from the equation? |

Message | OOC: When the phrase "no abortions" is used I am not commenting directly on policy but rather on the spirit of the current legislation which limits abortions. |
