Voting deadline: June 2419
Description[?]:
The Church was founded on the principal that it is poor and helps people reach their spiritual well being and inner salvation. But now a days it is becoming more like "...god doesn't like you if you don't give him half of your pay check..." and that is up to the individual how he spends his money, but to see what the church is doing whit it's charity money.Buying shares in blue chip company's, constructing sumer housing for high class tourism in Iliathar and the extravagance of some cardinals and even priests is unbelievable. We can not stop this, but at least we can seriously limit it.Taxing this crazed luxury of the church will help finance much needed programs and make the Church see that it must tend to souls not bank accounts. |

From | United Workers Union | To | Debating the End the religius corporation | Message | yes, but it must do that good, it is ther purpose and nowhere in the good book does it say that they must be rich and receive paiment for doing what they are ment to do.Did Jesus not say to the rich man from nazaret that whanted to join his apostols "..surender your riches, give all that you have to the poor and then walk whit me to iternal bliss"...and the rich man cod not. |

From | United Workers Union | To | Debating the End the religius corporation | Message | Cardinals and ArchBishops buying brand new Mercedes cars has nothing to do whit helping the poor. The official church budged states that only 15% percent of the budget is directed for humanitarian purposes, whit an extra 2% in case of major disasters of extreme circumstances.32% is for the upkeep, maintainence and construction (and this figure alone represents some colossal confusion.Their is a numerical inconsistency whit the amount spent for churches, cathedrals and other religion affiliated structures, and a considerable larger amount spent on new construction project that have nothing to do whit religion.A fine example is the \'New line resort\' a upper class vacation resort build a few months ago, funded complety by Vaxo inc. a company that is owned 95% by the church, and it is common knowledge that this company is nothing more than a front for the Churches marker activitys)\r\nMoving on to the rest of the Church budged.Calculating all of this means that 47% (or 49 in case of extreme circumstances) is left complety on local or regional religious leaders. It would be crazy to say that all the Church leaders are misusing this money, but a lot of them are and that is just wrong.Figures do not lye, and their are many cases of party donations by the church, we sencerly hope that esteemed representatives that are opposing this bill do not have a hidden agenda. And we also urge all to properly study these public documents and we assure you you too shall see these inconsistency's.

From | Constitutional Monarchy Party | To | Debating the End the religius corporation | Message | The Whigs certainly have nothing to hide. We simply believe that religion should neither be tampered with, nor hindered in their efforts. If the church has been involved with "vaxo"and resorts, they will be taxed indirectly as the company is taxed. But religion should be left well alone. |
