Bill: Creation of a national police agency
Details
Submitted by[?]: Supporters of Science in Design (IP)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 2419
Description[?]:
To help maintain the peace there should be a national police agency, so as to effectively go after those criminals who operate in multiple places. Local police agencies will remain, for there are some matters that are best dealt with by an agency administrated at a local level. These need to coexist with a national agency, though, in order to prevent lack of cohesion across regional agencies. The budget is running a surplus, so the federal agency is fiscally appropriate. |
