Bill: Strike Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Communist Party of Lodamun
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2420
Description[?]:
Multi million dollar corporations, including both privately and publicly owned, sometimes do not listen to the voice of their workers. The workers try to talk to them and reason with them, but sometimes they just don't listen. As we have stated in a bill we have proposed before, actions speak louder than words. Therefore, we believe that all workers have the right to strike. Sometimes, going on strike is their only way to speak their opinions. We also believe that when workers of a company go on strike, any other trade union that can identify with their struggle should also be able to go on strike. The CPL stands for solidarity between workers. We also believe that the government has no right to fire workers that have gone on strike. The workers go on strike because of the treatment of them by their bosses. THe CPL thinks that it is better to fire the bosses than to fire the workers. |

Message | This is a move to destroy the working rights of labor unions. Any party who would vote "No" demonstrates the evils of true unregulated capitalism which is the ugliest side of its economic ideology. |

Message | I am the Leader of the International Labour Movement. As the head representative of laborers and workers across Terra, it is my duty to ensure that all workers have the full protection and rights in every member nation. This bill increases protections and rights for all workers which is pivotal. And why are you going out of your way to find out my user name, that's something Matt Unger would do since he's a suspected stalker (AKA Moderate Republican Party). |

Message | Why are you still speaking in our debating chamber? Surely foreigners and non-elected persons cannot speak or sit in this chamber? It is hardly going out of my way to find your username, all I have to do is click on your party link, no high level espionage here. |
