Message | The SSDP would like to know on what grounds the CPS proposes we should withdrawal from the World Peace Treaty at this particular time? It also cannot support Article 4, as it attempts to dictate what people can or can't view in the privacy of their own home... The Party would ask--Is there truly within the range of responsible government? Or are Solentian's capable of choosing what art satisfies them... In the privacy of their own home? Perhaps this is merely an ideological difference between our two parties, but the SSDP cannot support any bill containing the provisions listed in Article 4. Finn Jacob, SSDP Chairman. |

Message | Mr. Jacob, The withdrawal from the World Peace Treaty in my eyes is long overdue. Solentia is one of only two ratifying nations, while 50 do not comply with it's articles. In the name of competitive defense of the nation, it is absolutely necessary to withdraw from this foolishly ratified treaty. On the issue with Article 4, I was (OOCly) under the impression that the laws required would be much akin to those in effect in the United States, where ratings of movies enforce who may purchase them. Did you interpret it otherwise? Senate Warden Elect Kevin Sunderland |

Message | On further inspection, Article 4 has been removed. |

Message | Mr. Sunderland, It is with a great sense of embarassament that the SSDP yields to the fact that only two nations have ratified a largely ineffective World Peace Treaty (OOC: Ooooops). While the SSDP feels that perpetual peace is a lofty, yet worthwhile goal, it agrees that being tied to a treaty that nearly every other nation has ignored makes little if any sense. That, coupled with the removal of Article 4 makes this bill agreeable to the ideals of the SSDP. Finn Jacob SSDP Party Chairman |

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset. |
