WHEREAS, the ironically-named "Civil Liberties Act" recently revoked the rights of a certain portion of Aldurians to adopt, join in a legally-recognized union, and have personal relations. WHEREAS, the justification for such revocation was on the basis of sexual preference, a condition which has not been proven to be simply preferential or genetic. HOPING, that the Aldurian Republic does not openly reject people for who they are. REMEMBERING, that the basis of the rule of law calls for all of mankind to be seen as equals under the eyes of the law. HEREBY, let it be RESOLVED that the Aldurian Republic repeal the proposals enacted in the Civil Liberties Act |
