Bill: Foreign Policy Reform (2419)
Details
Submitted by[?]: Imperial Vodka and Pimm's Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2420
Description[?]:
In the name of His Serene Majesty The Emperor, By the Grace of God, Defender of the Faith: This bill stops Johnny Foreigner taking advantage of our good nation and our good people through: - Limitation of aid; ties being necessary to ensure repayment of loans or political or economic favours. - Screening of missionaries; We must know the exact religious stance of missionaries that they not corrupt our subjects. Furthermore, we must ensure that they are not spies. - End of the 'national power' clause related to prisoners of war. The laws of foreign countries are strange and, crucially, foreign. What if they insist we must turn over all prisoners of war, thereby foregoing any intelligence advantage and returning to them capable soldiers? Therefore: prisoners of war shall be treated as prisoners ought. |

Message | We are certainly not, Miss Braithwaite, Pimm's is an alcoholic beverage and therefore illegal. The party is so named because of our founder, Theodore Augustus Anthony Wedgewood Sophomore Pimm. We would never involve ourselves in illegal activities, I can assure you! To be lectured on religion by Secularists, how very entertaining. |

Message | We stand corrected, and re-word our statement as follows: the Linen and Pimm's Party behaves like a party on Pimm's :-) Belinda Braithwaite (Leader of the LCWA) |
