MessageWe cannot leave our natural resources to the replanting opinions of logging companies. These private companies are naturally more concerned with profit than with ecology, and can't be the only authority. A 1:1 replant ratio is clear, easy, and reasonable.

Logging companies should be aware that the law could read, "The government requires tree plantation at higher than replacement levels..." and see this challenge as an opportunity to cut costs and streamline performance.

MessageFL: the NDP is shocked by your lack of responsibility in voting in favor of this bill. We counted on you for a more progressive, conservationist vote.

MessageThe FL, in recent years, have completely abandoned any environmental plans and responsibility they may have had. We also express sorrow and frustration.

NMP, we agree with your beliefs on corporate negligence...sadly, you also voted for this irresponsible proposal.
