Old value:: Individuals are allowed to own firearms as long as they do not have a history of dangerous mental illness or a violent criminality.
Current: Adult individuals may own guns under strict license conditions.
Proposed: Adult individuals are allowed to own and purchase guns freely.

Message | We do not feel that the complete lack of gun regulations is the proper path to take. A person with a history of violence should not be permitted to escalate their ability to harm others by purchasing a weapon. Furthermore few individuals can be said to need a gun, thus preventing someone from a purchase does no harm. |
